About the Artist

Cresha Lu is a mixed media, abstract artist in Griffin, Georgia, originally from New York.

As one of the founding members and resident artists of Hood Street Art Center, her art was featured in the Andy Davis Gallery from May 2015 to February 2018.

Her art has also been displayed at Rue Colline Gallery in downtown Griffin, Ga, from May 2019-May 2022.

Cresha's art has been shown on the Sundance television show Rectify, as well as being displayed at several local businesses in McDonough, Macon, Griffin and Zebulon.

She has displayed her art in several group exhibits with her peers in Griffin and central Georgia area. 

On March 7th 2020, she had her first solo featured artist exhibit at Rue Colline Gallery and Studios, in Griffin Ga.

November 2020, she was invited to have a month long solo exhibit at 1828 Coffee Company in Zebulon, Ga.

May 1st, 2021, she was invited to be the featured artist at Iris City Market in Griffin, Ga. 

Cresha has been selling and shipping her art all over the US, as well as internationally, since 2009.

 

Although she still creates paintings on canvas regularly, her most recent love and playful outlet, is art journaling with mixed media, and sharing her love of that on her YouTube.

She has found the playfulness in her art journal pages, to be extremely therapeutic.
